Get Inspired and Support a Good Cause at the Type Hike Showcase

Visit the University of Texas at Austin’s Courtyard Gallery as it presents an exhibition of posters designed by Type Hike, a collaborative nonprofit design project that supports the outdoors through typography. Featuring works from over 60 artists, this special display will donate all profits to help protect and preserve the outdoors and its inhabitants.

Created by David Rygiol and James Louis Walker, Type Hike was born from the belief that all designers are obligated to use their talent and ability to make the world a better place.

The project has grown into a unique series of collaborative posters and prints focusing on national shorelines and recreation areas as well as endangered animals. Come see the creations of some of the most talented Austin typographers and designers and support a great cause at this unique showcase!

At Oxford at Tech Ridge Apartments in Austin, Texas, we pride ourselves on informing our residents about all the upcoming events our beautiful community has to offer. Don’t hesitate to join this event on Monday.
