Our rich history of preserving western heritage began in 1938. Over the years, Rodeo Austin has grown from a stock show featuring 16 animals into one of Austin’s premier events, featuring a top 10 ProRodeo, daily concerts, a world class livestock show and more. In addition, the Rodeo Austin Scholarship Program has impacted the lives of thousands of Texas youth, donating millions of dollars to their education.
Staying true to the official sport of Texas, Austin hosts one of America's top 10 ProRodeos every March. The top ranked athletes in each event compete in Rodeo Austin for the title of Champion. In an action-packed two hours, fans enjoy extreme competition, bull fighting entertainment and the fan-favorite Mutton Bustin'.
Rodeo Austin hosts over 100 live music performances during the fifteen-day Fair and Rodeo, and is proud to bring a concert series to the Live Music Capital of the World that truly has something for everybody. From Texas country to punk rock, Rodeo Austin boasts a tremendous lineup featuring a variety of world class concerts every fan can enjoy!
Rodeo Austin will hold a rodeo and concert performance each night March 10-24, 2018. All performances begin at 7:00pm, except for Sunday matinees, which begin at 3:00pm. Attendees will see approximately 1.5 hours of Rodeo, including seven different ProRodeo events followed by a 1 hour concert on the main arena stage. Since it is a live sporting event, the length of the event is subject to change and concert start times may vary.
