Check Out a Performance of Ann, Which Tells the Story of the Beloved Texas Governor

Founded in 1932, Zach Theatre creates exceptional theatre experiences that inspire and engage the Austin community. Join us on Saturday, August 10th for our latest performance of Ann!

Ann is an intimate, no-holds-barred portrait of Ann Richards, the legendary late Governor of Texas. This inspiring and hilarious play brings us face to face with a complex, colorful, and captivating character bigger than the state from which she hailed. Written and originally performed by Emmy Award-winner Holland Taylor, Ann takes a revealing look at the impassioned woman who enriched the lives of her followers, friends, and family.

The vibrant Libby Villari will bring Ann Richards to life this summer at ZACH. Original Broadway Director, Benjamin Endsley Klein will return with most of the Lincoln Center Broadway creative team to resurrect this larger-than-life character in Austin with Libby now stepping into the role.

This Texas-sized story will run through September 8th at Zach Theatre, where you'll be treated to an up-close and personal visit with one of the most unforgettable personalities in Texas politics. For tickets, visit zachtheatre.org. We hope that you catch this comical play while you can!

While we provide plenty of on-site entertainment at Oxford at Tech Ridge Apartments in Austin, Texas, we believe that having fun within your larger community is equally as important. Do just that during this event on Saturday!
