TX German Bier Festival hosts this annual festival, Saengerrunde Maifest, celebrating German heritage (and food) in Texas. Enjoy special tastings from Texas craft brewers, a community cookout and plenty of fun. Live music, dancing and local vendors will round out the event.
There will be music by The Austin Polka Band. The Austin Polka Band is an ensemble of musicial veterans who love playing, performing and doing our part to preserve and share Polka and traditional German music here in Central Texas. We are professionals or retired professionals from all walks of life. Most of us have 30+ years of music experience and we have been performing together in this band since 2002, enjoying what we do and sharing good times with our audiences. Let us put the Polka in your next party and give some Gemütlichkeit to your next gathering! When we strike up the band, anything could possibly happen … and usually does!
